Stacey Watson

After a nationwide search, Achieve Palm Beach County has found its inaugural Executive Director!

Achieve PBC, which officially launched late last year, has selected Stacey Watson as its first executive leader. Watson officially joined Achieve PBC on June 12 and is being hosted at United Way of Palm Beach County.

“Stacey is a visionary leader who brings to the role deep experience in education (systems and programming), serving underrepresented youth, and working collaboratively with community partners to create measurable change,” said Christine Koehn, a member of Achieve PBC and executive director of The Celia Lipton Farris and Victor W. Farris Foundation. “We are confident that Stacey’s experience, knowledge, and passion are perfectly suited to facilitate Achieve PBC’s mission to collectively ensure an integrated and effective system of supports from middle school through post-secondary that empowers students for career success.”

Watson arrives from Buffalo, N.Y., where she launched start-ups like the Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology and the South Buffalo Education Center. Her accolades include being appointed to the Governor’s Team on School Engagement and Dropout Prevention in New York.

Most recently, Watson’s collective impact work involved Tonawanda Tomorrow, an economic action plan centered on the first-ring suburb of Buffalo that released a report earlier this month.

Please join Florida CAN in congratulating Stacey on her new position and welcoming her to the LCAN family!
